Montessori Mid-America, Inc. opened in August, 2000 in Interlocken. Featuring care for children from six weeks to six years of age, the center enables working parents to be near their children throughout the work day. The center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily Monday through Friday and offers a safe, happy, healthy environment where children can learn and grow.
The attractive one story building is located at the corner of Eldorado Blvd. and Interlocken Loop. The center has a capacity of approximately 140 young children who are grouped by age into classrooms specifically designed for their developmental abilities. Special features of the building include a large, well designed playground; an observation window for the primary classrooms; an abundance of interior and exterior windows which provide natural light and easy visibility into all rooms
at all times; and soft, warm colors in a natural, modern setting.
